Brampton is a long established, residence driven community known for commuter lifestyles. Whether you've grown up in Peel and are looking for a change, or you hope to move out of the big city without sacrificing your already established job, this list might help narrow down your choices.
Bramalea
Originally developed as a separate community, Bramalea has continued to develop a rich atmosphere with ready access to transit (Bramalea GO, and the Bramalea City Centre Terminal). It also has ample areas to shop and explore (Trinity Common, Chinguacousy Park, Professor's Lake).
The area is has beautiful, rich greenery and is easy to navigate. With larger neighborhoods sectioned off into letter sections, you'll feel at home in no time.
Downtown Brampton
The central core of the city is anchored in the historical intersection of Main and Queen. With historical favourites like City Hall and Gage Park, it is also a rapidly developing area of art and culture. The Peel Art Gallery, Garden Square, and Rose Theatre provide access to music and theater and many other interactive community programs.
It is also expected for the community to continue to develop more job opportunities and increased transit access due to a community initiative referred to as the Queen Street Master Plan.
Gore Meadows
This is a more recently developed neighbourhood that continues to contribute to the Flower City ideal with plenty of green access such as hiking trails and the Clairville Conservation area.
The core transit access point of the area offers access to a well equipped community library. There are plenty of family friendly activities such as bowling, a water park, and the 747 flea market.
Heart Lake
House pricing in this area is considerably cheaper than in other areas of Brampton. It also offers many near outdoor activities: Treetop Trekking, farmer's markets, and a plethora of walking/biking trails.
Mount Pleasant
More expensive than some Brampton areas, but less so than the up and coming Gore Meadows, Mount Pleasant offers direct transit access to Union Station.
It offers a lovely outdoor skating rink and stays true to the Brampton spirit with the Apple Factory Farm Market and access to thriving community centres and its own central library.
Brampton's dedication to greenery and outdoor activities makes it a diverse and community driven place to settle down with your family.
