Have you ever wondered why a system works the way it does? Have you ever had questions that Amazon couldn't, or refused to, answer for you? In this information age, we're always trying to source the answers ourselves. If we can Google it before we deign to reach out to someone, we are going to.
Some industries rely more heavily on specialty information (like real estate, for example). Some of the most nebulous industries to navigate are ironically threaded into the fabric of the internet itself. Reply All offers a guided tour into the industries of tech and ecommerce.
Introducing: Reply All hosted by PJ Vogt and Alex Goldman
The team dedicates their time to researching the qualms of the collective internet. In the short time I have been listening to them, I've learned more than I ever thought I would have about a lot of the major companies that impact our day to day (such as Facebook and the aforementioned Amazon).
It's an excellent listen on the way to work. The podcasts are thorough and informative (ranging between 20-50 minutes usually). As the series interlinks, future episodes shed light on more obscure questions presented earlier on. It's a fascinating web of information from which we all gain from having access.
And if you have your own burning questions for PJ and Alex, you can contact them at replyall@gimletmedia.com. They investigate information from all over the world, be it the US or Bangladesh.
